Jessica – The Cadet

Jessica joined Jones Lang LaSalle through our Cadet Program. Her dream job is working with a progressive department that makes each day of work exciting as well as motivating.

Why did you choose the Cadet program as opposed to the Graduate Program?
It is very flexible, allowing me to comfortably manage my studies at University with a part time career. It also provides me with the practical experience (in a number of different departments) that is so valuable to graduates seeking to complete university degrees.

Have you enjoyed the rotations?
I have, it has provided me with experience and an understanding of the tasks each department is involved with. It also makes for a more interesting and exciting job, as I am never in the same department for more than 6 months at a time!

I chose to work with Jones Lang LaSalle as I was able to see the potential for future employment opportunities within the firm, as it is a progressive, and evolving company I know that I will be able to move through the company, not only vertically, but also horizontally. Jones Lang LaSalle also provided me with the most suitable career path demonstrating their positive and progressive attitude towards women in the workforce.

What hype? If you call my obsession with buying beautiful shoes just fickle spending habits, then maybe…

I can’t live without my re-runs of Friends every night.

What do you do for fun?
For fun I sing my heart out at karaoke bars!
